DAP Shipping (Delivered At Place)

DAP Shipping (Delivered At Place)

DAP Shipping (Delivered At Place) is an Incoterm indicating that the seller is responsible for delivering the goods to a specified destination, covering all costs and risks until the goods arrive.

DAP (Delivered At Place) is an incoterm in international shipping where the seller is responsible for delivering the goods to an agreed-upon destination, ready for unloading by the buyer. This term signifies that the seller bears the risks and costs associated with transporting the goods, including packaging, documentation, and export approval, up to the specified location. Upon arrival, the buyer assumes responsibility for unloading, customs clearance, and import duties.

DAP was introduced in 2010 as a replacement for the term Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) in the official international trade language, although colloquially, DDU may still be used.
